We have considered your request and have reached a final decision on the matter. PokerStars does not see a reason to enter into a settlement agreement with you or refund your losses and is not obliged to do so.
You may be under the impression that PokerStars is obliged to refund your losses or has reason(s) to enter into a settlement agreement with you based on the judgment dated 17 April 2024 of the Court of Almelo in the Netherlands. However, the judgment is contrary to case law from both the Amsterdam District Court and the Amsterdam Court of Appeal. PokerStars will appeal the judgment and maintains that the contract between PokerStars and yourself is valid and legally enforceable.
